F Barry Bryant, 83, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 9 2025, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.


Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Frederick and Frances (Ganter) Bryant.   

 

He was a graduate of Plymouth High School and earned a BA degree in English from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre. 

 

He went to work in New Jersey for several years in collections.  He returned home to work with Eberhard Faber, InterMetro Industries and retired from the logistics department of the Tobyhanna Army Depot.

 

An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he loved watching the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers.

 

He also enjoyed reading, doing crosswords and his many dogs and cats through the years.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Earlene Bryant in 2015.

 

He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Barri Sue Bryant and Shannon Bryant, cousins and his 4 grand pups.

 

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, Wilkes-Barre.

 

The family would like extend great thanks to all of the incredible staff at Allied Services Hospice for providing the best care he had seen in quite a while.

 

Memorial donations may be made to Blue Chip Farm or Allied Services Hospice.
