Marianne Husted, 67, of Dallas, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 11 2025, at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.

She was a daughter of the late Cyril and Helen Bogdan, originally from Plymouth, PA.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Her family relocated to Kingston, PA, where she was a 1975 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.
She retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, as manager of the Tunkhannock Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, vacationing, especially family vacations at North Myrtle Beach, and her ‘girl’s trips’ to the wine country. She also had a special place in her heart for her rescue animals, especially Benny, the smiling horse at Ol’ Mother Cluckers Farm.
Her family was always special for her. She loved holiday gatherings with family and friends. Even as her health was failing, she wanted to decorate, cook and celebrate the Christmas holiday. She said her family needed and deserved a tree and decorations. So, she decorated!!
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ed Husted, and sons, Casey Husted and Timothy Husted, sister, Diane English and husband, Eugene, and friends, Mona Cook and Cathy White.
Memorial donations may be made to Ol’ Mother Cluckers Farm, Meshoppen PA., 18630, email: nicjon30@aol.com
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Daniel J. Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, Wilkes-Barre.
